Enigma

An ambitious project by the good Michael Cretu that has brought him various international successes, MCMXC a.D is an excellent Ambient album that stands among the cornerstones, repeatedly revisiting the central theme of Sadeness (a great track for the dirty deeds, lads) and stretching it out to Rivers of Belief. From "The Cross of Changes" onward, the project has lost some of its initial depth, although it still features excellent tracks like Return of Innocence and Eyes of Truth.

Enigma

Enigma is a German musical project created and led by Michael Cretu, known for fusing electronic, ambient, and new age textures with worldbeat elements and choral/chant samples. The project achieved global success with Sadeness (Part I) and Return to Innocence and has remained active since 1990.
