Oh dear! One cannot help but mention how Juventus qualified for the round of 16 in the 2003 Champions League after two incredible blunders against Manchester: 7 points in their group, tied with Basel (!) and Deportivo La Coruña (defeated only in injury time with a goal from Tudor). Barcelona wasn’t much of a team back then and was overcome only in extra time in the quarter-finals. Basically, Juve played well in just 1 match out of 17: the return leg against Real Madrid in the semi-finals. more

A good team. However, it's a shame for the Agnelli, the triad, Lippi, Fabio Cannavaro I and II, the mystical crises of Legrottaglie, and fifty years of mismanagement by the Christian Democracy that have tarnished the good name and glory of the club. more
