genius more for the artists he surrounded himself with in Mr. Bungle and Faith No More, rather than for any real personal merits. The second part of his career is enjoyable but forgettable (Fantômas, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom), and the latest "Mondo Cane" is a mess. But his fans will forgive him even this. The average Patton fan is a no less sweetened version of the average Vasco Rossi fan. Listen to the best things from his repertoire, but for the rest, don't get too carried away.
