Elio e le Storie Tese
To call them geniuses is reductive. They are the best in the genre of absurd rock and great masters in mastering the art of parody and satire. more
Sensations' Fix
Avant-gardists for their time, we prog fans would say, especially those of Italian prog, but, my friends: they were merely keeping up with the times.
Great band with an excellent sound! more
Linkin Park
First two albums: with a rather static and mediocre pseudo-metal and a minimalist, also quite lackluster electronics (capable of turning up the noses of fans of both genres), and some scratches and rapping borrowed from the hip-hop world, they managed to create a unique, powerful, and still unmatched sound. In essence, with very little, they were able to bring out something great and innovative.

Subsequently: while a lot of bands have been afraid to change for fear of losing their audience, they instead showed courage by changing style with practically every album, proving themselves to be more eclectic, mature, and grown-up than their rather simple and commercial songs might suggest. First with the melodic pop-rock of Minutes to Midnight, then with the experimental and sophisticated electronics of A Thousand Suns, the high-energy electronic rock of Living Things, the robust alternative rock of The Hunting Party, all the way to the very light and trendy electronic pop of One More Light, which, despite its slightly formulaic and flat nature, is certainly more worthwhile and decent than much of the crap out there.

In short: THEY ARE A GREAT BAND! more

Genesis -The Carpet Crawlers 1999
A missed opportunity, a fake reunion, since everyone recorded their part separately. A track simply updated in sound.
But for me, it’s always love! more
Steven Wilson
To be considered on the same level as Arjen Lucassen... if they lived in Italy, they would sell fake Rolexes to tourists. more
J Mascis
I met him in a record store in Los Angeles about ten years ago... a mutual friend introduced us, I didn't know who he was, but after 5 minutes I would have shot him: a mentally ill person of gigantic proportions who should have been institutionalized at birth!!!! Forget being a niche musician... this is a bullshit musician!!!! more
Ricky Portera
He adorns himself as if he were Richard Benson and has the same musical talent. more
Maurizio Landini
Someone who has figured out how to make money without working hard and by screwing over workers even more!!! To be executed in the public square as an enemy of the people!!!! more

Tool
I've never listened to them, but they've annoyed me so much with this pantomime about the new album that I want to lower their rating out of spite. more
The Morlocks
The Morlocks of the legendary Leighton Kozumi are the last heirs of glorious garage-punk. more
Olivia Newton-John -Physical
A very easy hit, with a video that hints at the cult/culture (-> bodybuilding) of body care. A fun video with a gay-friendly ending. B-side composed by her, with an environmental theme. more

The Velvet Underground
The Underground Velvet. My ex liked them; I could never stand them except for the famous album produced by Andrea Guerrabuco and sung with Nicoletta. The one with Domenica mattina. more
