comparing them to any classic Metal group is almost laughable... do you really think a kid who likes Slipknot could appreciate Judas Priest, Accept, or something similar? Like it or not, if we're going to talk about modern Metal, we have to include them as well, the facts say so, more than Machine Head, more than Lamb Of God, more than a lot of other bands.
Despite having become the Stone Sour with a double pedal, albums like "Iowa" or "Slipknot" have certainly not gone unnoticed.
