He loved to describe himself as a "gardener," a role he dedicated himself to for the last 10 years. He may not be the best guitarist or singer in history, but you’ll never find another gardener who sings and plays like him. He deserves 30% of the credit for the Beatles' sound, and excuse me if that’s not much... Every time I hear "Something," I thank George's mom. A light solo career, to say the least! A pillar of modern music.
