George Harrison

He loved to describe himself as a "gardener," a role he dedicated himself to for the last 10 years. He may not be the best guitarist or singer in history, but you’ll never find another gardener who sings and plays like him. He deserves 30% of the credit for the Beatles' sound, and excuse me if that’s not much... Every time I hear "Something," I thank George's mom. A light solo career, to say the least! A pillar of modern music.

George Harrison

George Harrison (1943–2001) was an English musician, songwriter and guitarist, best known as a member of the Beatles. His solo work is frequently discussed around the landmark 1970 triple album All Things Must Pass, his spiritual songwriting, benefit work connected to Bangladesh, and later-career resurgence with Cloud Nine before his final album Brainwashed was released posthumously.
