It's not a 5 considering the superiority of other guitarists such as Jimmy Page or Jimi Hendrix, but it's also not a 1 because he knows how to play his instrument and does it well. If you don't appreciate the solos of November Rain or, for example, Sweet Child o' Mine, I believe you don't understand much about music. I think that when writing about an artist, one must be objective. One must remove what needs to be removed and give credit where credit is due. A 3 is more than acceptable.
