It's not a 5 considering the superiority of other guitarists such as Jimmy Page or Jimi Hendrix, but it's also not a 1 because he knows how to play his instrument and does it well. If you don't appreciate the solos of November Rain or, for example, Sweet Child o' Mine, I believe you don't understand much about music. I think that when writing about an artist, one must be objective. One must remove what needs to be removed and give credit where credit is due. A 3 is more than acceptable. more
A great artist who made the world understand what art really is. Art is not just about knowing how to play or sing, but about being able to convey emotions even with mediocre technique. I believe Kurt was this, and sure, his death made him more famous, but it can't be said that he wasn't already. He sold countless albums while he was alive and did so without lowering himself to the commercialization that many "artists" of today and yesterday have resorted to. A deserved 5 out of 5. more

If I were to consider only the first album, I would give it the highest score due to the greatness of each individual song. Unfortunately, as the years went by, they gradually fell off, and it’s a fortunate thing they broke up since at least because of that we still remember them. They were great in the beginning, bland in their continuation. My score is three for the decline in style. more

Signing with CBS didn't earn them a damn thing. At the peak of their success, they broke up. They weren't cut out for it at all. And they showed the world how great and diverse it was, bridging various distances. And that is the most important thing of all. more
