A debut not with a bang, but almost. more
Perhaps his masterpiece. Good rhythm, but the bass and drums are much more appreciated on vinyl compared to the CD. It sold a lot. more
You can listen to it again in 3020, you'll understand that Lucio was ahead. more
A crazy yet dark text about funk music. Where genius confirms its genius. more
To this I can forgive the poorly executed music in front of an immense text. more
The text is beautiful, the music a little less so, but it’s still worth 4. more
Beautiful is that Mongolo smile of yours. more
Mystical and musically insane more
Delirious, crazy. Among the best things more
A good start. Actually, a great one. more
I love P.F.M., but it's a celebration, and I hate its English version just as much as I love the band. As they say, every family has its black sheep, and for me, the black sheep of P.F.M. is this one. more
Perhaps the best album more
Together with 'mio fratello è figlio unico', they are his two main albums. Joy, irony, sound, rhythm, and beautiful lyrics. You couldn't ask for more. more
A terrible headache... more
The rock twist makes her an ordinary singer with no musical qualities. More than an album, this is a muddle lacking imagination and often redundant. more
Usual rhythm and energy but with more popular themes, little imagination, and a certain nostalgia. It is certainly not one of the best albums. more

Five stars for life for the Police era, 4 stars for the first four solo LPs up to 1993, where it ranges from good (Soul Cages 1991) to excellent (the remaining three), with the rest being negligible (but with flashes of class here and there) until today, where it earns only 3 stars. Average: 4 more
I posted it and listened again today (I've lost count of how many times I've done it since 1991). Fast forward decades now; and the distances that separated us from Spiderland at the time of its release were centuries. A watershed work, just like Nirvana's Nevermind, also crafted in 1991. Both are absolute masterpieces. It's hard to choose the best among these personal monuments. Immense, eternal, unforgettable Slint...WASHER... more
They are essential in a respectable audiotheque. If you can't have more albums, this collection is among the best. more
