Justin Hawkins
Great singer and great personality, you can recognize his voice among a thousand, it's funny and caricatural, you can't tell if he's being real or just playing a part, and that's exactly what makes him unique. more
Linda Perry
Steven Tyler female, but more expressive and less gaudy and croaking, really hit it off with the 4 Non Blondes; later on, he totally squandered his talent (in the literal sense of the term), but "Beautiful" by Aguilera and the songs he wrote for P!nk are actually quite good. If only all contemporary mainstream pop were like this... more

The Simpsons
Guys, I love Family Guy, but have you ever seen the first 8/9 seasons of The Simpsons? The show turned into authentic junk afterward, but those early years are PURE GLORY. There’s no Futurama, Family Guy, or anything else that can compare! Maybe the only show that can compete a bit with The Simpsons is South Park. Anyway, for those who are all praises for MacFarlane: he gave us Family Guy, but he’s also responsible for American Dad, a true, to quote Fantozzi, CAGATA PAZZESCA! What a mess is that? Don’t you agree? SUCK IT UP! more

Adorable. One of the groups I appreciate and love the most overall. Excellent until "Close to the Edge", a bit too heavy with "Tales" and "Relayer", wonderful "Going for the One" and "Tormato" (I've never understood the disdain for this album), then a trilogy of mediocre and unremarkable albums until "Union", after which they made a great comeback, stringing together a series of excellent albums throughout the nineties up to the last outstanding "Magnification". "Fragile" still remains the best. more
Pink Floyd
Immense. I'm not an exaggerated fan of their work up to Ummagumma, excellent from Atom to Obscured by Clouds, masterful from Dark Side to The Final Cut (perhaps my favorite album of theirs), and very good are the last two records. Waters is a phenomenal composer, Gilmour an excellent guitarist and an emotive voice. more
Hawkwind
It's a nice feeling, huh, but for me, there's too much drugs.. In their lyrics, in their heads, in their sound, in their concepts, in their lore faces.. They often ruin what could be outrageous instrumental pieces with some shitty lyrics.. more
The Simpsons
No, gentlemen, the Simpsons are on another planet compared to Family Guy. Simpsons = the Bible, Family Guy = the Acts of the Apostles. 5 to the Simpsons, 3 to Family Guy. more

Homer: Oh, and how could "education" make me feel smarter?! And then every time I learn something new, it pushes the old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course and forgot how to drive? - Marge: That's because you were drunk! more
