Moby -Play
Defined by critics and various encyclopedias as an innovative masterpiece of those years. Ok, I trust it and find it transcendent, even if sometimes slightly repetitive. Still, listening to it in its entirety is like a movie, a journey, a story. more

And come with me, my love, on the great ring road that surrounds the capital, and during the stops we will make love... and if a little girl is born, we will call her RRROOOOMAAA... and the brother we will call CUPPOLONEEEEEEEEEEE more
Freak Power -More of Everything... For Everybody
Just two albums before disbanding, but both are excellent works. A mix of jazz, electronic music, pop, and more in a successful blend that entertains and doesn't tire. more
Kings Of Convenience -Riot On An Empty Street
A different, perhaps retro way of making music, but I adore Simon and Garfunkel, so for me, they are exceptional. more
Lucio Dalla -1983
Too often criticized or underestimated, I find it excellent. Perhaps not at the level of the 1977-1980 trilogy, but tracks like the title track or 'L'altra parte del mondo' guarantee it a full four stars. more
U2 -Pop
Confused work and unappealing sound. Little creativity and mediocre arrangements. more
Zucchero -Fly
Funky rock folk, a mix of enjoyable rhythms to listen to. A good piece that never gets tiring. more
Luca Carboni -Diario Carboni
There was no need for this album, but evidently, it might appeal to a devoted fan. more
Mina -Canarino mannaro
Swing jazz versions of famous pieces on the first CD and unreleased tracks on the second. In addition to the stunning voice, there is a team of excellent musicians behind. more
Rita Pavone
Representative with some infamy and above all without praise of the Italietta of the '60s. Maximum 2 and a half stars. more
Jimi Hendrix -Electric Ladyland
And here I finally add a Hendrixian album to my collection.
Voodoo Chile and 1983...(A Merman I Should Turn To Be)? What can I say, 15 and 13 minutes of infinite psychedelia.
And what more is there to add? We truly needed a piece of Dylan to transform into hard rock and blues rock, it's All Along The Watchtower, folks!!
And it’s with Voodoo Child (slight return) that the Wah-Wah achieves the complete perfection of Hendrixian psychedelia, as perfect as the entire album. more
CapaRezza
One of the best among the "moderns," meaning those who emerged in the early 2000s. Great lyricist, energy, and irony. However, the 4-star singer-songwriters are elsewhere, and it's a solid 3, not quite a full one. It appeals to Millennials, but Music is Something Else. more
Nilla Pizzi
The queen of '50s music. Of course, it's national-popular repertoire and quite retro, which is why I won't go beyond 2 stars, but still, she was the first winner of Sanremo. more
Lucio Dalla -Lucio Dalla
The best of the "Dallian Trilogy" 1977-80: not much more to add! more
Mango
It certainly won't be remembered in the annals of music, but it remains nonetheless commendable. Vocally, it's outstanding. Average 3.5 more
Zucchero
A great singer-songwriter until 1989, a decent craftsman until 1995, then the abyss (in fact, I can only save 'Dindondio' from Shake in 2001). more
