A Day to Remember
A band to remember not more
NOFX
Crazy, funny, entertaining...genius. more
Escape the Fate
I challenge you to find something worse. more
Pantera
Among the best in metal. Period. more
Metallica
Overrated as much as Jesus Christ, if not more. I only like 2 of their albums: Master of Puppets and ...And Justice for All. Hetfield is a hack, Hammett is one of the most overrated guitarists ever, no comment on Ulrich. The bassists have always made a great impression. Not the best, not untouchable.
p.s. Burton wipes the floor with Rob ;) more
Frank Zappa
Describable only with the word "indescribable" more
The Mars Volta
Absolutely out of my mind. more
Queen
Despite the missteps of Hot Space, The Works, and Flash (ESPECIALLY FLASH), they were a great band. Excellent live. more
Area
I'll just leave a 5 without rambling on, even though 5 is too little for them... more
System of a Down
Nothing special. more
Green Day
Decent beginnings but not thrilling. Then they became the best-selling band in history. Some say they are the forefathers of California punk, but have you ever heard of Social Distortion, Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion, Operation Ivy? more
Volbeat
Despite the sometimes repetitive riffs, it's a band that truly deserves attention. more
Primus
What can I say if not......PRIMUS SUCKS! more
System of a Down
An amazing and original group: the masterpiece and its confirmation with the first 2 albums, a slight drop with "Steal this album!" while still maintaining credibility and originality, the misstep of Mesmerize (the worst album of the band, in my opinion) and Hypnotize (better than Mesmerize). They are not Nu Metal, not at all. more
Iron Butterfly
Not so exceptional, after all. In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, both the album and especially the title track, remains a gem. more
Deftones
The best in the genre. No bullshit. more
The Clash
Great group, good for everyone. more
Anti-Flag
A pretty pissed off group more
Tool
The connection between Dream Theater and SSTM can't be read, presumptively, as a clever move. But it's not cool. I’d say they’ve geared it toward the big audiences by simply hardening their gritty side and flattening a psychoprogressive attitude that was also quite clever. In short, they pulled it off brilliantly. Live, they are seriously impressive. more
Tool
distressing, paranoid, gloomy, lucid madness. more
