Okay, he was an incredibly talented guitarist, and that can't be denied. But also a bit too repetitive. For example, in the first album, there are Pride and Joy and I'm Crying which are exactly the same, just with different lyrics. Great Band of the magnificent Seventies, capable of delivering a magical trilogy ("Phenomenon," "Force It," and "No Heavy Petting") and then continuing at high levels until almost the mid-'80s. Clearly, the Schenker period, true genius of the six strings, is the best, but even afterwards they produced remarkable work, and for this, I will never stop listening to them.
