I know every piece (theirs and Lee's solo work) by heart, I have so many bootlegs that I almost disdain the studio versions, I admire the "Jazz" period, the jams, and their virtuosity... and one fine day I decide to listen closely to "Convention Prevention": perfect, harmonious, rich in effects yet simple at the same time, a relatively easy but perfect solo and a deep text... they lack nothing. Perhaps Alvin Lee picked up an acoustic guitar only a few times, but just "Year 3000 Blues" is more than enough :)
