Great voice, too bad it's wasted 90% of the time on B-list songs... 3 for excess. more
Honestly, I was never overly impressed. There’s a huge gap between the highs ("Anima latina," "Il nostro caro angelo," "Impressioni di settembre," etc.) and the lows ("Essere una donna," "Balla linda," "Dieci ragazze," etc.). 3.5 for the low end. more
He was a great artist, but not a genius (as many consider him). I really appreciated his works from "Ingresso libero" to "Nuntereggae più," and my vote goes to that Rino. Afterwards, there was a slightly underwhelming album, a comeback ("E io ci sto"), and then death (R.I.P.). more
Great artist with peaks in the seventies and also the very early eighties. Following a few not-so-great albums from the eighties, he showed he could reinvent himself with class in 1993. However, the best Vecchioni for me remains that of the period 1975-1982. more
I think that "Creuza de ma" is worth five stars on its own in the entire career. Oh, also "Anime salve". And "Volume VIII", "Non al denaro...", "Tutti morimmo a stento", "Le nuvole"... well, I'll stop here otherwise we’ll end up tomorrow. more
In my opinion, this is the best album by the Prince (after "La pecora" and on par with "Rimmel"). It's really hard to dismiss anything. Simply wonderful. more
A huge step backwards compared to the previous quartet. For heaven's sake, it’s not entirely worthless, but it's such a cheap shot of an album that it ultimately becomes unbearable. And "Cuore di aliante" is one of those classics that would have already gotten on your nerves. more
ONE OF THE FEW HM BANDS I COULD GET INTO FOR SATURDAYS AND SATURDAYS more
Animanera is the shining star along with Rap lamento, while the rest is kept at an excellent level. more
Frankie's most pointless album. Not bad, but it’s just a bit of a pointless game unto itself (in short, it feels like it's written just for fun). more
Of the Baglioni's works of maturity, this is the one I like the least; however, I still consider it a nice album. The title track and "Tutto il calcio minuto per minuto" are the most successful pieces. 3.8 more
Until "The Sea of Poppies" (85), he was a great interpreter, but unfortunately, he has slightly declined since then. However, I find him excessively mistreated. more
The silly EP by Genesis released in 1977, very shortly after two albums like "A Trick of the Tail" and "Wind and Wuthering". Honestly, it feels like a publication thrown together a bit haphazardly in my opinion, and for this reason it is even more surprising that they couldn't find a better placement for "Inside and Out," a beautiful track (collectively composed but I believe primarily penned by Hackett) excluded, for reasons known only to them, from W&W and relegated here as a consolation prize, alongside what are undoubtedly the two ugliest songs the Genesis had ever produced up to that point. There it is, this is the EP of the infamous "Match of the Day," the football-themed song. Banks, who is the same man so proud of masterpieces like "Illegal Alien" or "Into Deep," is extremely embarrassed to have written this piece, just to grasp the level, huh... In fact, they've reserved it the damnatio memoriae. In short, a silly EP with two rather ugly songs in which a superb track has ended up a bit by chance. more
Better than many of his peers, worse than many real artists. Sufficient. more
As a (ahem) singer, terrible doesn't even begin to cover it. Even the voice, I find it awful. As a woman, well... not bad at all, really... more
The vote reaches its golden period, that is, the seventies and the very early eighties... more
Everything else is... BOOOIAAAA more
Great album, undoubtedly the best Battiato from the 2000s. "Tra sesso e castità," "23 coppie di cromosomi," "Ermeneutica," and "La porta dello spavento supremo" are the most successful tracks. 4 solid balls. more
A giant, unjustly reduced to the rank of "singer-songwriter of silly, fun songs." If only we had more artists like him... more
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen the sUUUUUUUUUUUUN will return!!!! more
