U2
Whatever is said about them, in my opinion they remain among the best groups of the entire eighties. A stunning initial post-punk trilogy ("Boy," "October," and "War"), two masterpieces produced by Eno ("The Unforgettable Fire" and "The Joshua Tree"), a great live album ("Rattle and Hum"), and an excellent electronic turn ("Achtung Baby" and partly "Zooropa") make them a band of considerable stature. Since 1997, unfortunately, they have been at the mercy of the waves. more

Yes, of course, latrine. Please... for me today he knows how to do it better than Morgan. more
Andrea Fumagalli
Irritating poppet-like androgyne, wannabe Andy Warhol lookalike and an artist sold for a pittance. A latrine like his worthy companion Morgan. more

David Bowie
A perfect trash cross between Renato Zero and Malgioglio. more
John Paul Jones
Well done, very well done. But others like John Entwistle, Chris Squire, Jack Bruce, Larry Graham, Geddy Lee, or Tony Levin (just to stick to the rock realm) have been even more so. more
Daniele Luttazzi
My vote would actually be a 10. more
Antonello Venditti
One of her best and most famous tracks is a cover ("Alta Marea", read "Don't Dream It's Over").. I think that says a lot.. more

Roberto Vecchioni
A good man who does his job well, without shame and without praise. Thanks to the general mediocrity of Italian music, he even manages to stand out as a Maestro. more
Antonello Venditti
Delightful singer-songwriter, a notch above Gaber and two notches above Faber... despite a bit of a decline in recent years, he continues to write great poetry and make great songs... an extra point for being from Rome! more
Cliff Burton
The true soul of Metallica (the real ones and not the super-commercial ones). more
James Hetfield
The soul of Metallica will always be Cliff Burton, but Hetfield remains in the rock Olympus! more
