Beautiful music, beautiful voice and lyrics even if "Saigon" has little to do with it. It could have said, with the same effect of distance, Moscow, New York or Beijing, but that doesn't matter. I really love the song; it has that feeling of despair, that idea of dreamed things never realized that gets inside you and makes you feel sad. At least that's how it is for me. Better, much better him than FDA. more
The magnum opus of one of the most brilliant singer-songwriters around. You can see the care that has gone into the writing of each piece. 4.5 rounded up, one of the best Italian albums since 2000. more
How vast the sea... how small the man who departs. more
Personally, I have a nice memory of this disc. Of course, it undeniably did better work before, here it was already in a decline, but it still remains appreciable. The next "Che Dio ti benedica" will manage to be slightly more interesting, then goodbye to Pinuccio as well. 3.5 more
Of the 90s, this is the most successful one. All the tracks are produced excellently, and almost all the songs are written impeccably. It was very close to reaching a step below masterpiece status, but it’s still an excellent album. Almost 9. more
Just as Bonolis carries Laurenti with him, the Elii are no less and have taken the greatest Italian artist on the road with them. more
Nothing, one of the greatest Italian albums for me. Even the ones that are essentially fillers are excellent. And then there are the more successful tracks...5 stars for life. more
Perhaps interesting, but worthless and almost inaudible. Tedious like few others. The 2 is for the respect I have for Franco; otherwise, it would have been a flat one. more
This is unknown to anyone. No one who knows Teresina, or L'alluvione, or La lallera, or MA I CHE LA MI DICE SIGNORA BEATRICE, CHE LE STAVA MEGLIO CON UN AMANTE, NIENTE MENO CHE DANTE. Tuscan milestone, we need cantucci and wine because here we need to clear our heads. more

Undoubtedly one of Fossati's (many) masterpieces, perhaps the most "ethnic" of all from the 88-2000 period. "L'amante" and "Il canto dei mestieri" are extraordinary. more
An extremely underrated album (both at the time and still today), but very beautiful in my opinion. It's absurd that the same author has always repudiated it as if it were nothing. But tracks like "Maria Maddalena," "Canzone per Seveso," or "Jodi e la scimmietta," many singers and local authors can only dream of at night... more
For me, the ultimate masterpiece of Uncle Pino (perhaps competing with the previous namesake). Twelve inspired tracks perfect in every way. Monumental. 9.5 more
Not among Vecchioni's best albums, but I have to say it is enjoyable to listen to. "Le rose blu" stands out above all. Rating 7.5 more
Another excellent album, well above "Uffà! Uffà!" from the same year; perhaps the second-to-last gasp of the best Edo. The title track and "L'isola che non c'è" are the most successful pieces. 4.5 rounded up to 5 out of affection. more
We're back to the discussion of when Venditti was still offering us extraordinary albums, with not a single weak song. When his songs still gave us true emotions, nothing compared to "Benvenuti in paradiso," "Raggio di luna," or other similar miserable crap from the nineties (to follow). Great Antonello Venditti, where have you gone?.. more
The first signs of yielding, but at the same time still a more than decent record, even though the previous one and the following one are clearly superior to me. 4 fair stars. more
I listened to it again recently and reassessed it, but not for the better... it remains the first album that marks a "change of course," after a significant period of great albums. However, I still believe that anything less than a 4 doesn't make sense. more
When you have nothing to say, say nothing. When I have something sensible to say about this masterpiece, I will say it; for now, I’ll just leave this rating. more
Among his earliest albums, this is perhaps the least musically original, but at the same time the most heartfelt and sincere. The title track is likely the most beautiful song dedicated to Naples. 4.5 more
