Mike Oldfield -Ommadawn
A very wide range of emotions conveyed by the skilled fingers of one of the best composers of the last 50 years. more
Mike Oldfield -Amarok
A fantastic brick more
Jethro Tull -Thick As A Brick
The best review is the one right on the newspaper/cover. more
Herbie Hancock -Headhunters
The first track would be enough to explain funk to a novice. But then there's also the second one... more
Neutral Milk Hotel -In The Aeroplane Over The Sea
Sincere, personal, slightly psychedelic, and very original. The most commendable aspect is the presence of brass instruments and many instrumental parts that feel almost vaudeville/circus-like, even though the melodies are quite bare when they're on their own. more
Yes -Close To The Edge
It's true that the rest of their output has been on a downward trend, but when you release an album like this, it's hard to go uphill. The best prog album. more
Paul mccartney -Ram
Raw and rough sketches, others more developed. And I don’t understand what you have against Linda McCartney’s voice. I find it fully in line with the project and very authentic. more
Herbie Hancock -Sextant
First track is spacey, the second is almost funky, the third is pure fusion. Overall, a very enjoyable package, it sounds very analog. more
Macintosh Plus -Floral Shoppe
Say what you want, but this album gives me very strong emotions. more
Jean Michel Jarre -Zoolook
Half ambient and half dance, here Jarre wanted to throw the fava de fora and he succeeded quite well. I really appreciate the experimentation with voices; as for the music, Jarre is always at his very highest levels even here. more
Emerson, Lake & Palmer -Tarkus
Fast, relentless, and full of so many beautiful synth sounds. more
CCCP Fedeli alla linea -Epica Etica Etnica Pathos
A journey through continents and cultures while remaining firmly anchored in a dark and self-produced soul. All things considered, the best album by CCCP, in my opinion. more
Art Blakey -Holiday For Skins Vol. 1
An experiment in bringing African percussion back to the world of jazz, long before it became fashionable. more
Colosseum -Valentyne Suite
The vote refers almost exclusively to the suite: precursor to the upcoming prog, it is equally light, melodic, refined, and wicked, rocking and stubborn. more
Death Grips -The Money Store
Death Grips, for better or worse, have returned to rap that violence and danger that had, over time, been somewhat lost. For this alone, they are commendable. This Money Store also has the added bonus of being a tremendously catchy album perfectly suited for repeated listens (even non-ironic ones). more
Ivan Graziani -Nove
I don't know what to say... I was expecting a great album, inspired by that little gem Lucetta fra le stelle... but Limiti immediately thought to bury it all with "that stupid heart of yours always looking for love," good intentions for a textually mediocre song. What follows is pretty trivial, with the cute Il tamburino, the catchy Minù Minù, and the filler Gangsters. There are definitely some nice tracks, after all, we're still talking about Ivan; Blouson noir and Io che c'entro would be enough to place this album among the classics. The problem is that everything is contextualized within the 80s, trapping the songs in what was fashionable back then. It's not a bad album, just more ordinary and already heard. Best tracks: Blouson noir, Io che c'entro, Lucetta fra le stelle. more

How to throw away a great career... more
Stevie Wonder
A handful of great albums ("Innervisions" above all for me). more
