Fabrizio De André -Anime Salve
Among the 10 best Italian albums of all time. There are no words to describe it, it’s 46 minutes of absolute perfection, but not a uniform perfection; a perfection that ranges from the most exhilarating tracks (Princesa, Dolcenera) to the more playful ones (A cumbà, le acciughe fanno il pallone), and especially with impeccable songs that give you goosebumps (Anime Salve, Khorakane, Smisurata preghiera, Disamistade). more

Litfiba -Mondi Sommersi
but yes, a meager pass is all right, especially for the second side which, excluding “in fondo alla boccia” and “l’esercito delle forchette,” is full of great tracks, shooting me down on all of them. it’s just a shame about the first side, which is markedly inferior (only “goccia a goccia” manages to save it) and has some truly, truly awful tracks (like “regina di cuori” and the first pathetic version of “ritmo...”) more
Vinicio Capossela
"Could it be that our Vinicione has been a bit overrated?" No, absolutely not. Okay, it takes inspiration from Waits, if not to say that sometimes it's a copycat, but that's no reason to belittle it. Canzoni a manovella and Ovunque proteggi are two of the most beautiful albums ever produced in Italy and among the 5 most beautiful albums of the millennium (at least up to now). Even in episodes like the debut from '90 or Il ballo di San Vito, it manages to deliver a quartet of wonderful songs. more

Queen -Made In Heaven
Just a few nice bits and some pretty pieces. The rest are simple fillers. Not essential, but not completely useless either (#maybe). more
Spirito Nel Buio

REO Speedwagon
I listened to both their early works and the albums from the ’80s deemed their peak like "High Infidelity": well... stomach-churning, the worst of AOR, or rather its most clichéd incarnation. Stale melodies, flaccid, anonymous music, sold out more than commercial. At times, they unintentionally brush against Bubblemusic. Even Journey are better than these dull craftsmen. And bands like Toto (or even Survivor at this point) are light-years ahead. A unique banality. I only save "Nine Lives" and a little else scattered here and there. Our Pooh, in comparison, are Stockhausen. more
Abstract Truth
South Africa 1970, two LPs (Totum/Silver Trees) left as glorious and enduring memory. more
Bleak House
ZiorPlus

ZiorPlus: Bleak House Traccia 08 in Bleak House Album - 2 october 1968

Probably the most intriguing piece in an album that is remarkable as a whole, the year is '68. As if musically speaking there were something that doesn't stand out in the summer of the Summer of Love. more
Hanns Heinz Ewers -Il ragno e altri racconti del terrore
A classic of horror literature, even though the tale "Il ragno" owes much to "L'occhio invisibile" by Erckmann and Chatrian. more
The Morlocks -Submerged Alive
The best (fake) live performance in garage history! more
S. Baxter -L'incognita Tempo
The authorized sequel to The Time Machine is exceptional. A novel capable of unfolding into unprecedented situations and adventures, amplifying to the utmost the foundational structure of what Wells had created 100 years earlier. more
Gianni Drudi
My new point of reference. To be discovered by @[IlConte] more
