Nice album. Not a masterpiece of the genre, but we need more albums like this. Rating: 7.5 more
The American alter-ego of our Bobby Solo and Little Tony... or was it the other way around? more
I don't know... his voice gets on my nerves. His songs don't excite me. I only find traces of him in early rock'n'roll (up to 1964) and in some cool poses of certain frontmen and in the hair of others... he may have been great, but he has been unnecessary for decades now, and that's saying something. The ultimate loner: with his unique voice, he tightens the heart in a sea of tears. His It's over has an intensity and an ending that no other tragic love song possesses. more
I think I have fallen in love. more
Their inspiration has dried up many albums ago. So much so that the best things are reserved for their solo works (see the great exploits of Moore and Ranaldo). But Confusion Is Sex, Bad Moon Rising, Evol... will remain eternal masterpieces for my tastes. more
a beautiful album of original pop'n'folk more
They were inspired by French Noir (and you can feel it) and contributed to the reminiscence of Apocalyptic Folk and Anglo-Saxon Math rock, the selective electronics, and thanks to them, even the aggggrfdressa sftdiidid would never have been born and today we would be left empty-handed. This alone is enough to deserve the Olympus. more
