Am I exaggerating if I say they did something nice? 3--- (my most frequent grade in high school) more
Extremely versatile, they never cover more than two songs by the same author. Unfortunately, they also choose the wrong ones. more
An album with a compact, monolithic sound where Cornell, Thayil, Shepherd, and Cameron deliver the best of '90s hard rock; obsessive, heavy riffs that are impossible not to get possessed by. A special mention goes to Limo Wreck, which Scaruffi says is copied from Dazed and Confused (ajò, Piero!) but for me, it's an amazing track! more
More than skilled craftsmen, but like them, there were many in the '70s. more

Great albums up to Black Market Music, I bought Sleeping with Ghosts and from that moment I gave up on listening to them, so my rating refers to their earlier works. more

"Our music is violent, but we are not. Songs like 'Guns On The Roof' and 'Last Gang In Town' aim to be against violence. Sometimes you have to put yourself in the shoes of the guy with the gun. I could never do it, but at the same time, you can't ignore these things. We're not a bunch of assholes like Boston or Aerosmith.”

It is part of the historic Berlin trilogy (Heroes - Low - Lodger).
It was something mind-blowing when it came out.

The life of The Cure can be divided into two eras: the first post-punk era, which spans from the first album to the fourth (Three Imaginary Boys, Seventeen Seconds, Faith, Pornography), and the second, which is particularly new wave. That is, all the other albums. The albums from the first era, as far as I'm concerned, all score eight or higher. more
First solo album by the first guitarist of Genesis. Super collaborations such as that of Phil Collins. An album that ranges from being monumental to being literally sublime. more
If not the most beautiful by Dylan, one of the most beautiful. An acoustic as always to envy, framed by a memorable harmonica. more
