I take offense when I hear people talk about Bowie as an overrated artist! He may not have invented anything, but he knew how to blend everything together in a very credible way, and as far as I'm concerned, that's enough!!! The fact that he is overrated is debatable since his failures (few, indeed) have been unanimously crushed by critics and the public, including fans (just look at the reviews of Never Let Me Down and not just mine).
