Here's the thing: until about a month ago, I refused to watch that damn Gangnam Style video, but then some friends convinced me (we were a bit tipsy, we were laughing, it happened), and the funny thing is that the video made me smile while the "song" is innocent, silly, cheerful... then I watch the live performance video, with billions of Koreans sweating, dancing, and screaming under the stage, and I realize that, as always, it's the "people" who get mesmerized by this nonsense like Waka Waka.
