She may be unpleasant, but for me, she's far from lacking. Madonna has been riding high for 35 years because she knows what she's doing, not because all her fans, unlike you, are incompetent. True Blue, Like a Virgin, and Like a Prayer contain many cheerful and enjoyable songs. Ray of Light is a great album. Music, American Life, and Confessions on a Dancefloor are not bad. The only ones of hers I don't like are Hard Candy and the awful duet with Britney Spears. more

I've been following Elisa since the beginning. The first three albums are excellent. It's not true that she then stopped making good music. She tarnished her image with some silly singles in Italian, but those songs are the worst tracks on the albums that include them. The rest is not bad. I hold her in high regard because she is a complete artist: she plays several instruments, writes the songs, and has a beautiful voice. I'm speaking as someone who has seen her live twice. Moreover, she has remained a humble person; success hasn't changed her. more

For me, there are two different Take That: the ones from the period before their split and the ones from their comeback. In the first period, I couldn't stand them; the only acceptable song I remember is "Back for Good." They sold records because they drove teenage girls wild. Upon their return, I found them more mature. Their pop has shifted from boring to enjoyable. It seems that aging has done them good. more
