Black Sun Ensemble
Band of the visionary guitarist Jesus Acedo. Boundless psychedelia that explores worlds far removed from jazz to Middle Eastern music, from raga rock to Hendrix. A bridge between psychedelia and distorted world music. Listening to "Lambent Flame" is highly recommended. more
Fabrizio De André -La Buona Novella
Solemn and raw religious parable centered on the human and earthly figure of Jesus of Nazareth and, in general, on the evangelical question. A sacred work in its fully secular essence. Furthermore, thanks to this record, I Quelli and Mauro Pagani will form PFM. more
Cyndi Lauper
She never rested on the ephemeral success of "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," trying to grow by producing very nice things that didn’t have much public success. How painful it is to see her today in interviews, overweight, shy, and with her eyes downcast, praising Madonna who had none of her talent. more
Ferruccio Amendola
Despite his diction flaws, his intensity was worthy of the great actors he dubbed. He was a true actor, not a refined and cold speaker like some voice actors. De Niro has always expressed admiration for him: “Ferruccio Amendola never overshadowed the actor he dubbed. He truly became the character.” more
R.E.M.
In the pop ballad (tastefully arranged) they have been masters. But they have been too self-satisfied. more
Dedalus -Dedalus
Well-played jazz-rock but a bit conventional, for this debut... before starting to handle the MAGNETIC TAPES and delivering one of the most extreme records of the Italian avant-garde of the seventies to posterity. more
Povia
THE MOST ROCK AND GENUINE AMONG OUR SONGWRITERS, TOO BAD THAT MANY UP HERE DON'T REALLY KNOW HIM WELL. BIG LOVE, YOU ARE ALL OF US. more
Delirium -III - Viaggio Negli Arcipelaghi Del Tempo
Without Fossati but at least a notch above "Dolce Acqua," and perhaps it's the best of the Delirium. "Fuga n.1" is exceptional, it's the first track I'll go back to when I dust it off. more
Tsu Shi Ma Me Re
Surely, the Japanese group that most aligns with the (nonexistent) standards of avant/ska/indie/punk/noise/pop. These are among the strangest things to come from that region in the last 10 years. more
Modern Life Is War
'Cause We're all Dead Ramones. essential. more
High Tide
Two discs, each more beautiful than the other... more
ufo -strangers in the night
Discovered late, but it was still a great pleasure. Beautiful live album, in my opinion worthy of standing alongside other more famous live recordings in the Hard Rock genre. In some tracks, there are affinities with the sound of the Scorpions (Doctor Doctor, Lights Out). Rock Bottom is my favorite piece. more
Premiata Forneria Marconi
"Storia di un minuto" is the only one I still occasionally listen to, it's beautiful. The rest has now tired me out; they remain good until "Chocolate Kings." more
Talking Heads -More songs about buildings and food
"The Good Thing": in just three minutes, everything you would have wanted to know about the Talking Heads, but never dared to ask. more
Club Dogo
"For the Spartans it was once the same: they would throw off a cliff those who were not doing well." more
Melvins -Eggnog
What am I even saying, 5 balls, and that’s actually few. I put on "Charmicarmicat" at full volume and the plaster falls down. Goddamn an EP!! more
Silverchair
The most useless group I've ever had the misfortune to listen to. more
Burzum
"Hvis Lyset Tar Oss" and "Filosofem" are two great albums. There's not much to say. He is a human piece of shit. more
385
Avant-funk-noise-prog-jazz-pop-rock ers melted from the land of the Rising Sun. more
Okkervil River -Black Sheep Boy
Great little record. High-class folk-rock. A tad below the previous one for me. more
