Sadus -A vision of misery
Third album in chronological order for the Californian band; and it's their best work released in 1992. A finally perfect production highlights a sound made of technically impeccable Death Metal, with Thrash accelerations that make the tracks devastating, on the brink of a nervous breakdown; a work of the individual musicians that knows no pauses, always in search of executive violence, with an additional note of merit for bassist Steve DiGiorgio...Sadici... more
Fairport Convention -Liege & Lief
Whether it's the band's masterpiece and the pinnacle of British folk, I'm not sure; I only own this album by the group in question, and I must say it's a great work. "Farewell, Farewell," "Crazy Man Michael," the central medley are exceptional, just like Danny's great voice... more
Discharge
The extremization of sound and the concept of Hardcore; a foundational band for understanding the subsequent twisted step that will lead to the birth of Grindcore...The Nightmare Continues... more
Giovanni Allevi
A commercial shame! The true worthy Italian pianists are Stefano Battaglia and Bollani (the latter barely). more
Peter Gabriel
A good singer with Genesis, he loses most of his charm as a solo artist. more
SOVIET SOVIET
Excellent "musical phenomenon" in the fertile Italian underground scene. Their sound strongly resembles Joy Division from a more shoegaze and new wave perspective, the only flaw (in my opinion) being the excessive use of reverb. Their track "Ecstasy" from the album "Fate" well represents the potential of this interesting trio.

4, awaiting further productions. more
Mario Merola
The greatest singing teacher who brought light to his people in Naples without asking for anything in return was also great because he launched big singers like Nino D'Angelo and good singers like D'Alessio. A good man, my sister took singing lessons from the same person who arranged the songs for her and said that Mario was the kindest man in the world. more
Ozric Tentacles -Erpsongs
Here too, we play it safe; a bit unripe, but not too much. more
Grinderman
The definition of "beard" understood as a mighty weapon of man. more
Enya
Chilling sound that sends shivers down your spine but above all... it has a unique, inimitable, and unparalleled style, deserving respect for this! more
Mano Negra
One of the most fun, irreverent, loud groups I’ve ever seen in concert. The first two albums, "Patchanka" and "Puta's Fever", are thrilling in their mix of everything from punk, rock, reggae, ska, to Latin and African music... Mala Vida!!!!!!!... more
Pink Floyd -Wish You Were Here
Beyond the uncommon beauty of a sublime record, through five songs that have made History in Music, I like to remember a specific moment of the album, where with every listen I forever lose my sense of reason and am struck by such wonder. I'm referring to the track that opens the album "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (part one)" when, after Richard Wright's keyboard intro, at the stroke of two minutes and ten seconds, David Gilmour’s guitar enters...WORDLESS... more
Los Locos
If it weren't for the resorts, these people would be under a bridge digging through the trash, or at best spending a few nights at the bullfights... more

I nuovi angeli
Mauro Paoluzzi is one of the greats of Italian music. They deserve it, especially after the period of "Donna felicità," "Singapore," and "Canta ragazzina." more
Lenny Kravitz
Lenny Kazzi. However, he deserves it musically. more
Mika
Mika Salo... I'm coming down! In the photo, it's not him anyway, but referring to the singer and considering his shows on Italian TV, I'll give him 3 stars; he's a really great character. more
