This band hailed from the Dutch lands; a Death Metal of unheard ferocity played at a breathtaking speed of astonishing beauty. Their album "False," released in 1992, is highly recommended; with the "skinned" voice of Jan-Chris De Koeyer adding yet another brutal merit... more
We are in 2007 and Mark Knopfler gives us another album that I believe deserves the highest praise; musical quality as always excellent, with that unique guitar sound of his that, in some songs, cannot help but remind me, with great pleasure, of his first unreachable band. In this regard, I need only mention a single song: "Punish The Monkey" - a superb rock-blues oriented ballad that seems like the twin sister, in a roots version, of "Ride Across The River"... Eternal praise to Mark... more

Am I punk? Am I not punk?... they kick ass and that’s more than enough. more
I had the chance to listen to it properly a few days ago on the train after a long time, still a great record, an excellent debut for the band from Athens. It flows smoothly, with no weak points, great harmonies, and an excellent cover of "There She Goes Again" by the VU (even though the original has its own charm). Great album... more
One of the most beautiful Pop Albums of all time. Epic, indeed eternal sounds and songs. The unmistakable drum sound, the sonic WALL of the orchestra, the perfection of the arrangements, all point to one name: that of the Genius who was behind this Record. more
Meteor group from the '60s psychedelic garage, but very important even if little known. Tight, badass songs, great single that gives the album its name, a "forgotten pearl." The cover of "My Generation" by The Who is also excellent, an album to enjoy... more
A fun album, not exactly a genre I usually listen to but enjoyable, a worthy expense. In my personal opinion, the best tracks are "Mr. Grieves", "There Goes My Gun" and the stunning "Here Comes Your Man," with a riff and a chorus that get stuck in your head right away. They remind me a lot of the garage bands of the early '60s, of course with the right differences... more
Of geniuses. Punk with various influences, played well and with somewhat interesting lyrics. Mike Ness is the absolute number one. They've been kicking ass for years, and unfortunately, very few people are paying attention to them. I'm sorry for you if you listen to crap music. more
If you’re over 18 and still listen to this band’s crap, thinking you’re some kind of nonconformist rebels always against the system, then you can just go fuck yourselves, because you definitely have mental issues. Even Green Day should go fuck themselves for annoying everyone with their poppy little songs as pseudo-rebellious bullshit. more

A character not to be overlooked. To the singer: 3, to the actor: 2, to the preacher: 1. The vote goes to the singer. more
Every time I listen to it, I find new gems. New nuances.
There isn't a single bad track on this album. That's my opinion, of course.
