The debut is still punk and raw, but with the heart of sixties rock 'n' roll (and also Springsteen). more
If they had brought together in a lab a Syd Barrett passionate about rap, hip hop, alternative rock and a constantly acid-fried Bob Dylan, something very similar to this album would have come out. more

Whenever I hear someone sing the praises of ELP, I can’t help but put on a record made up of 50% burps and 50% farts. Joking (?) aside, a cornerstone of the most gruesome, depraved, and toxic noise-blues. Ladies and gentlemen, the cows. more
Come on, enough. more

Initially, as many know, I preferred "Foxtrot" to any other album by Genesis, enough to declare it my absolute favorite rock album, but I have reevaluated this wonder, chronologically preceding the dethroned "fox album." Three immeasurable and indisputable gems + a more than good piece (Seven Stones) and three short pleasant tracks. "Nursery Cryme" is the most striking case of a perfectly constructed album, where all the pieces come together flawlessly. more
Pearl! The maturity of Genesis, both musically and lyrically, is evident and cannot be mistaken for didacticism, as it will be in "Selling..." and "The Lamb." "Trespass" is an incredibly smooth and pleasant album, touching throughout the entire first side, a bit bolder and more aggressive on the second with "The Knife" and the central part of "Stagnation." It ranks as the third album of the Gabriel era in my personal list. more
Of course, going from the National Health to Whitesnake is all about the money and success, right? No hard feelings though, considering the times that were in play. more
Unfortunately, it's still around. At least it's harmless. more
Wonderful album, the penultimate inspired one, the last is We can't dance, but this is so much more. A lively album that expresses the anger over Phil's failed marriage and the desire to come together with a pop music album that is anything but trivial. I didn't find any weak tracks... more
