Kula Shaker -Peasants, Pigs & Astronauts
Exactly what one could expect from Kula Shaker after "K" and also for this underrated since its release, when instead it has the same inspiration as the debut in its blend of psychedelic pop rock and Indian sounds. more
Grant Hart -Intolerance
In 1989, Grant's first solo work was released after the breakup of Husker Du; a separation that leaves its mark on the suffering, intimate, and calm songs heard in this album. Two years have passed since the split with Bob, marking the end of an irreplaceable friendship and artistic partnership; the boy from Minneapolis does everything by himself, playing the instruments and singing with that clumsy yet effective voice of his. "All Of My Senses" is the beginning: six minutes with a serene retro keyboard sound. more
Michelangelo Buonarroti
The greatest artist of all time, a GENIUS, number 1. more
Ludwig van Beethoven
Very good, but I would only place him in the top 5. Number 1 is NONNO BENITO, the best artist, the GREATEST man in all of history. Without him, Italy would be in the hands of the communists. more
Sugar
This is the Sugar, raw and cane, that I prefer; among the best examples of Power-Pop after the end of Bob's unforgettable first group... F.U.E.L... more

Coroner
The greatest technical thrash metal band in history. Their first 5 works are 5 gems, technical, abrasive, powerful, intricate, but also revealing a certain taste for melodies. Three geniuses, I would say. My favorite is No More Colour. more
Deathrow
I can't give a 5 because they lasted too short, alas. Raging Steel and Deception Ignored, however, remain two gems. The latter, in particular, I think is one of the most cerebral and structured thrash albums I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. A fantastic band with a career that was too brief. more

Flowerhead -...ka-BLOOM!
Another totally forgotten band (even by me) that emerged from nowhere at the dawn of the '90s, and very soon disappeared again. I dusted off (quite literally) this album yesterday, after years and years of it sitting under one of the many piles of CDs I have at home. Flowerhead played a sort of psychedelic grunge, nothing groundbreaking, but at the time it was very enjoyable. Another one of those many one-hit wonder bands from that era, along with countless others. Decent. more
After the Burial
Eight-string guitars right in the face. Quite enjoyable. more
Bad Religion -Against The Grain
It was incredibly hard to choose the best album by Bad Religion; but after years of struggling with myself and going through changes, I've come to a conclusion. Without taking anything away from the equally timeless masterpieces "Suffer" and "No Control," "Against The Grain" is, for me, the true Bible of the California band. To give substance to my reasoning, I will mention the fifth, lightning-fast track "The Positive Aspect Of Negative Thinking": 55 overwhelming seconds that then give way to "Anesthesia"... AARRGGHH... more
Rush
never ever ever liked them... everyone says (and so it must be) that they sounded like gods, that they rocked here and there, but they never got to me (a bit like Depeche Mode). for example, I can't stand the singer's voice, I give them a 3 out of respect. more
