Recorded between the end of 1987 and the early months of 1988; the debut album of Carcass is a "tombstone" of the emerging Grindcore. Jeff, Bill, and Ken are barely adults but have a clear vision of what they want to record: a terrifying production makes the boys' sound even more oppressive and filthy. Twenty-two tracks in under forty minutes begin with the instrumental "Genital Grinder," followed by "Regurgitation of Giblets" and the other depraved tracks...BASILARI. more
The King Crimson of vegetables. Simply the best. more
Without infamy and without praise more
Disgusting vegetable with a fake-sweet aftertaste, only worse are cauliflowers! If there's one thing you learn as a child, it's how disgusting some vegetables are... I'd rather poop bricks and get hemorrhoids than eat this disgusting stuff... more

I've tried with them several times but nothing, I don't like them. Especially Kurt Cobain's voice I find unbearable. Then, I don't know, but it seems to me that there are bands in grunge of a whole different level: Alice in Chains, Mudhoney, Melvins, Green River... and so on, just to name a few that I like. more

Mr. G gets angry and writes a strongly critical, furious, and partially disillusioned show. Pieces like the title track, "Guardatemi bene," and especially "Quando è moda è moda," bear witness to this. A gut-wrenching moment comes with "La Festa" and "Eva non è ancora nata." Further applause goes to the arrangements of Battiato and Giusto Pio. more
Soft and melancholic post-rock enriched by a poignant violin and the voice of Tara Jane O’Neil (bassist of Rodan). Two albums (The Sonora Pine, 1996 / II, 1997), two incredibly precious gems. more
One of the most representative albums of the 90s Metal; the second album by Fear Factory embodies the perfect sound of what would later be defined as "Cyber-Metal." Thrash and Death intertwining in twisted, synthetic, industrial spirals, leaving no respite in the listening experience of each track: an enormous boulder of uncontrolled power that opens with the title track, where the cold, alien guitar riffs of Dino Cazares accompany the declamatory singing of Burton... more

A friend of mine, who is now 60, saw the JT in Rome when he was a kid. Nobody knew them; I think they were the opening act for someone famous. When he came out with his flute, the audience laughed and said, "Who is this fool playing with his leg like that?" But soon enough, they stopped laughing because those were the JETHRO TULL, and they were blowing everyone away. The crowd went wild with excitement. One of my all-time favorite bands. Unique. more
