Lynch doing sitcom?

Indeed...

The story is there and it isn't, there are 3 rabbits in a house in a city where it always rains, or maybe there's nothing and it's all a dream. There are also the canned laughs from Striscia that randomly pop in to annoy, while the 3 bunnies (Naomi Watts, Laura Harring, and Scott Coffey) ramble on about things without logic, but which in the "Lynchian" tradition form a Clementoni puzzle to uncover a terrible hidden truth ("i have a secret"), with some interludes where one of the 3 rabbits starts singing a story, while a strange object appears in the top right (Tyler Durdem’s porn frames?) burning the footage, or the appearance of a "demon" coloring the entire room red.

There’s no sense in this story, as Vasco "EEEEHHH" Rossi would say in his lovely little song, but perhaps there IS a sense in the random words of the 3 acid-tripping rabbits that populate this strange episodic series by Lince.

Murder? New loves? Or perhaps another story made of Poles and other random things?

Or more simply, is it all just a joke?

Yes, there are canned laughs, but the feeling is of being in a Jigsaw game, the atmosphere is pure psychological horror thanks to our Badalamenti’s music, the face of the devil or the unsettling poems narrated by the 3 rabbit characters.

It must be said that if you watch it for too long or all at once (about 40 minutes or more), you might end up yawning since practically nothing happens the whole time.

My thought is that Lynch wanted to pull a fast one on his fans, who are similar to "Dark Souls" fans (or fans in general) regarding the extreme affection and desire to theorize everything to formulate mysteries, secrets, subplots, etc... so he created a disorienting and hallucinated product that can hide everything and nothing, a mysterious murder or the long-term effects of LSD.

In 2006, Lynch's last effort comes out, which is essentially the same thing but lasts 3 HOURS!

It's up to you to understand what this miniseries hides in the thousand meanings inserted by Lince, or go take up horseback riding.

And this I add to the movies with strange rabbits together with "Donnie Darko."
