This "review" is more of a request for information. I would love to know what you think of WELL SHALL GO TO TOWN by the immense David Bowie and why it was only included in the 2004 reissue of Hours. I find this song to be a wonderful mix of melodies, vocals, guitars, and darkness. The music industry often—and perhaps rightly so, for filthy lucre—commits unspeakable acts of sabotage, and this time even the White Duke played his part by not giving Well Shall Go To Town the attention it deserved. For fans of the genre, it’s important to know that this song was the reason for the split between Bowie and guitarist Reeves Gabrels; when Gabrels saw that it hadn’t been included on Hours in 1999, he turned his back on Bowie and their careers parted ways. Rolling Stones Italia listed it among Bowie's 10 hidden treasures. If you’ve never heard it, I recommend you give it a listen.
