Daniel Schmidt

Daniel Schmidt (born 1942) is an American composer and instrument builder associated with American gamelan. He worked with Berkeley Gamelan, and recordings from 1978–1982 were later issued as In My Arms, Many Flowers. His music centers on metallophones in aluminum and bronze within a minimalist language.
