Italian punk/hardcore group from Milan that emerged from the VIRUS occupied building; their 1984 7" ...Vivi ! is often cited as a highlight.

Originated in Milan from young people frequenting the occupied building VIRUS. First cassette (200 copies) titled "Crash Box" preceded a 1984 7" release. The 7" shows a melodic-HC (Californian-influenced) approach. An American tour was planned but ended after three dates. The 7" is described in the available review as a gem of their discography.

The available review praises Crash Box's 1984 7" ...Vivi ! as a highlight of their discography. It situates the band in Milan's punk scene around the occupied space VIRUS and notes a melodic Californian hardcore influence. Songs singled out include the title track, "In Trappola", "Sangue" and "Troppi Rimpianti".

For:Fans of 1980s Italian punk and melodic hardcore; collectors of hardcore 7" singles; listeners interested in Milan's DIY scene.

After the first cassette (of which there were 200 copies) simply titled "Crash Box", in 1984 this 7" was released which, due to subsequent lineup changes, bureaucratic issues (and even an American tour planned with the naivety of adolescence but ended in 3 forgettable dates), remains in my opinion the gem of their discography.
