Cordis Cincti Serpente

Musical Group

A cult, mysterious project described in reviews as enveloped in a magical and occult aura, with a first dark tape in 1989 and a later double-cassette release titled Noo Yuggoth. The work is explicitly Lovecraftian and esoterically influenced.

The name is said to be taken from a magic grimoire. The Noo Yuggoth release is described in its liner notes as "An Exploration Into Lovecraftian'S Metaphisye" and was issued by Industrial Ölocaust Recordings in a strictly limited edition of 31 copies (see Discogs: https://www.discogs.com/Cordis-Cincti-Serpente-Noo-Yuggoth/release/8574065). The project is linked in reviews to T.O.P.Y and the early Esoteric Order Of Dagon; John Balance is mentioned as a member of the latter.

A cult occult/dark-ambient project noted for Lovecraftian themes and a mysterious history. Review (caesar666) praises the dark, esoteric atmosphere of the Noo Yuggoth release. Recommended for listeners of ritual/occult music.

For:Listeners of Lovecraftian, occult, dark ambient and ritual industrial music.

A cult group in the true sense of the word, this Cordis Cincti Serpente (the name is taken from a magic grimoire): it is a project shrouded in mystery that, in the past, had already released a dark tape in 1989.
