Cloud Nothings are an American indie rock band from Cleveland, Ohio, led by Dylan Baldi. Emerging from Baldi’s bedroom recordings, they broke through with the Steve Albini–recorded Attack on Memory (2012) and continued with Here and Nowhere Else (2014), Life Without Sound (2017), and the fierce Last Building Burning (2018).

Cleveland band led by Dylan Baldi; project evolved from solo recordings to a full band. Attack on Memory was recorded with Steve Albini. Here and Nowhere Else was made as a trio with a raw, chaotic approach. Life Without Sound features new guitarist Chris Brown and leans into melody without dropping the bite. In 2015 Baldi collaborated with Nathan Williams (Wavves) on No Life For Me.

Four reviews trace Cloud Nothings’ arc from Albini-forged abrasion to hooky clarity and back to feral intensity. Attack on Memory marks the pivotal turn from solo project to band. Here and Nowhere Else strips down into chaotic, lo‑fi urgency. Life Without Sound balances power-pop sheen with post-hardcore bite. Last Building Burning comes out swinging as one of their most aggressive statements.
