CHROME SKY– Artificial

Paolo Miano is a singer and songwriter from Catania, while

Mario Ferrarese is a programmer and composer who has lived in Amsterdam for years.

Two artists who came together to create Chrome Sky, a project that encompasses music in all its forms and beyond any genre.

Their debut album is titled Artificial and it is an album that shifts from prog to electronic, from alternative to industrial music, from sharp guitars and heavy percussion to electronic effects and aseptic choirs.

The album consists of 7 tracks:

“Artificial Man” kicks things off with lyrics highlighting the dominance of technology over humans.

“Corruption” deals with the inevitable loss of innocence and the knowledge of evil.

“My Male Function” is a strong critique against gender stereotypes, while “The Chrome Sky” is an instrumental piece that recreates a sonic journey through different realms.

“Redemption” is the antithesis of “Corruption” and thus deals with redemption that lies beyond good and evil.

“I Dream Of The Day” is an excerpt from a letter to the family of Caleb Milne, an American Jewish soldier during World War II.

And finally, “My Scars” closes the album with a more introspective theme focused on the individual, that is, our identity defined by our precious scars.
