THE REVIEW

Today I'm here to review the first album of a man I admire a lot, namely Caparezza.

The album I'm about to analyze is truly well done and perhaps the best of the Apulian singer. The album in question is a great denunciation of Italy with songs a bit rap and a bit rock.

The album opens with the usual "Intro", then continues with "Mea Culpa" where RezzaCapa regrets the musical choices he made with Mikimix to restart with other concepts and superior compositions.

The most beautiful track on this album is undoubtedly "Chi Cazzo Me Lo Fa Fare" where he complains about various people in Italy including the ultras (complete idiots) and the kids who go to Rave Parties. Another wonderful track is "Fuck The Violenza" where our Michele tells us to be non-violent following the example of the pacifist par excellence, namely Gandhi.

Another piece that particularly struck me was surely "La Fitta Sassaiola Dell'Ingiuria" with very peculiar rhythms and with a Caparezza very different from what we are used to hearing, yet he always manages to be an ironic and intelligent person.

In short... this album is absolutely a must-buy, especially for the 3 tracks I mentioned above.

Capa tells us he has understood his mistakes and wants to start again from scratch.

‘troppo posato per la sinistra, troppo alternativo per la destra, non mi resta che rassegnarmi a stare in mezzo.’

CapaRezza bursts onto the scene with a debut as intelligent as it is daring.

From witty wordplay to genre-bending beats, there’s hardly a dull moment on the record.
