Mercy Mercy Mercy! - Live At The Club ligdjs

Even from the grooves of a record, even forty years later, it’s easy to sense the exchange that took place on October 20, 1966.

Joe plays the electric piano here, his soft sound perfectly marrying Cannonball’s powerful, passionate sax.

Dive into the swinging magic of Mercy Mercy Mercy! and experience a legendary live jazz performance that still resonates today.

You and Mercy Mercy Mercy! - Live At The Club

Cannonball Adderley

Julian “Cannonball” Adderley (1928–1975) was an American alto saxophonist central to hard bop and soul jazz. He rose to prominence in the mid‑1950s, joined Miles Davis (including Kind of Blue), and led celebrated groups with his brother Nat. Known for a warm, full alto tone and engaging onstage commentary, he scored a crossover hit with Mercy, Mercy, Mercy!.
