Excuse me, but I simply cannot resist, this site has already won me over; I want to write the first review of 2005!
First of all, however, I must condemn the cowardly attack suffered by our president today in Piazza Navona by an agitator. If it weren't for him, Italy would be a less free country and an incredible and libertarian site like DeBaser probably wouldn't exist [probably not]. Best wishes to the President on behalf of all the writers and I believe, without a shadow of a doubt [without a shadow of a doubt, I believe], also from the managers of this incredible and above all libertarian internet site.
But let's get back to the main point of my review, I wanted to write the first review of 2005, but one that contained the most important or rather the most significant album of 2004. After much thought, I can only name it as In the Zone by the true Queen of Pop who ideally and materially takes over the scepter from Madonna Louisie Ciccone. In fact, the first song is a duet between Miss Ciccone and Miss Spears. Spears receives the endorsement from the reigning queen who has ruled the Pop world, always written with a capital P, for almost twenty years. It is followed by track number 6, Toxic, the one from the video where Britney is a flight attendant on the plane.
As usual, I also present a gem for you, a less obvious track that this time I found in The Hook Up, not immediate pop like the others, but with a special character. Summing up, a transition album that marks the passage from the teenage Britney to Miss Britney Spears, who then also in the past year kissed Miss Madonna at the MTV Awards ceremony, further confirming what I told you above (as a sign of her growth she will also get married, but you all already know this story).
Best album of 2004 for all these reasons, for the rest, I wish you a good listen and obviously a serene and happy 2005.
