Brain Police are an Icelandic stoner rock band formed in Reykjavík in 1998. Known for a warm, 70s-tuned sound and nods to Kyuss and Fu Manchu, they delivered their fourth release Beyond the Wasteland in 2006. The reviewed lineup features Jens Olafsson (vocals), Gunnlaugur Larusson (guitar), Hordur Stefansson (bass), and Jon Bjorn Rikardsson (drums).
