Blood Axis

The Gospel Of Inhumanity mementomori

This album by Blood Axis is aesthetically ugly and, beyond any personal judgment on what is beautiful and ugly, it is extreme, terribly extreme, in form and substance.

I have long learned to separate music from politics...can a left-wing person listen to the music of Blood Axis? And my answer was: yes, they can, just as a vegetarian can eat a pan of crap.

Explore the unsettling power and unique fusion of Blood Axis' cult classic album — listen now if you dare.

Beyond time and released from sin
As we prow to the slain, determination grim
As a visor who feeds the soil, and the wheel turns again

You and The Gospel of Inhumanity

Blood Axis

Blood Axis is an American post-industrial/neofolk project led by Michael Moynihan, founded in 1989. The project gained cult status with The Gospel of Inhumanity (1995), expanded its scope with the live Blót: Sacrifice in Sweden (1998), resurfaced with the folk-leaning Born Again (2010), and gathered rare material on Ultimacy (2011). Longtime collaborators include Annabel Lee and Robert Ferbrache.
