Black Midi are a British experimental rock band formed in London in 2017. Emerging from the Windmill (Brixton) scene, they fuse prog, jazz, post-punk and math rock. Their debut Schlagenheim (2019) was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize, followed by Cavalcade (2021) and Hellfire (2022).
