THE REVIEW

After the divorce from Premiata Forneria Marconi, Bernardo Lanzetti tries a solo career by releasing this album with ten songs for the Ciao Records label in 1979. The result is passable, but beyond the undeniable vocal qualities, it is evident above all the attempt to strike while the iron is hot. Notable tracks include the beautiful "Hollywood," which opens the album, "KO," and especially "La Tua Storia," a couple of rather lively tracks "Campione," "La Regina Del Luna Park," country atmospheres in "Goodbye Goodbye," and then "Mi Piace," "Il Temporale," "Rock Urbano." "La Cosa" closes the album, to which will follow in 1981 "Gente Nervosa" which has already been reviewed. However, everything resolves into nothing, and despite the excellent musicians including Walter Calloni and the participation of Mauro Pagani, the album, as well as the career, will never take off. The album is now untraceable; for Lanzetti, the previous three with PFM remain as a testimony to an extraordinary talent.

Notable songs include "Hollywood" and "La Tua Storia," displaying a mix of styles. Despite strong musicianship, the album and Lanzetti's solo career failed to gain traction. The album is now hard to find, leaving his earlier PFM work as the best testament to his talent.
