LA RECENSIONE

For the first time, Melissa is touring Europe alone.
The audience is warmed up by Living Things with energetic punk rock, inflamed also by statements against Bush.
After a laborious sound check, it's time for Melissa, introduced by a strange nursery rhyme. The concert proceeds with pleasure, starting with "lighting is my girl" and ending with "followed the wawes" plus a final encore with only her and her bass.
In between are all the other songs from the album and not a single cover: a pity it lasts only an hour. This might penalize her, and as for her personality, she needs to grow. However, regarding her charisma, there's no doubt, Melissa holds the stage like a seasoned rocker.
