Juan Garcia Esquivel

Mexican bandleader, pianist and composer, pioneer of Space Age Pop known for stereo experimentation and inventive lounge arrangements.

Born January 20, 1918; died December 3, 2002. Noted for stereo-era studio experiments (theremin, ondioline and other electronic colors). His recordings were reissued and compiled in the 1990s during a Space Age Pop revival.
