Antarte is a Sicilian band/project born in 2008, originally led by Lillo Morreale (guitar, vocals), Paolo Vita (guitar) and Gabriele Castelli (drums). The group released a self-titled EP in 2009 and the album Olio su tela in 2013; Isole is a later album noted for denser, layered instrumentation.

According to the DeBaser review, Isole was released on Megaphone Music / Good Fellas. The project began in 2008; a 2009 self-titled EP and the 2013 album Olio su tela are mentioned. In 2016 the core lineup reportedly moved to Bologna and later involved Nicola Benetti (drums), Nicolò Bosio (bass) and Urbano Pettazzoni (multi-instrumentalist).

Isole is presented as Antarte's evolution from earlier work, with denser, layered instrumentation and melancholic themes. The review describes a mix of post-rock, dream pop and indie textures across eight tracks, highlighting instrumental passages and varied moods. Production features strings, distorted guitars and both minimalist and more energetic singing.
