Little Anna and her viola.

Six tracks, six wavering, fragmented, pleasantly naive, irritable jabs at our mummified senses, compose the brief debut released a few months ago thanks to 4AD.

The promising, carefree, bizarre and talented twenty-three-year-old from Minnesota, in these not even twenty minutes, intrigues us, first sweetly seducing, then demolishing our age-old certainties, our absurd securities.

And she does it damn well.
