Andy Sheppard

Andy Sheppard (born 1957) is an English jazz saxophonist active since the 1980s. A leader and collaborator, he has recorded for ECM Records and worked extensively with Carla Bley and Steve Swallow, as well as with Gil Evans. His projects range from lyrical small groups to atmospheric contemporary jazz settings.
