Just hearing the shy yet confident initial notes and the introductory, gentle vocalizations immediately makes you realize that the recent latest endeavor of the young and talented songwriter/multi-instrumentalist from Chicago will inevitably find a place in our tender yet disorganized little heart.
The faintly intense, at times exuberant sketches scattered over the fifty-plus minutes offered throughout the fourteen tracks seem to possess the salvific power to reconcile us with the surrounding world.
